Family owned and operated
S.L.A.B. Insulation is a locally owned and operated company. We are based out of Waipukurau, but cover a large area between the Manawatu and Gisborne. S.L.A.B. has been running since 2014 and continues to grow.
Adele Lock is the Director and Office Manager of S.L.A.B. Adele will be the friendly voice at the end of the phone when you call, or respondent to most emails. With a background of Running her previous businesses over 20yrs, expertise in HR and also a Double degree in Pyschology, Adele is happy to assist with your enquiries.
Blair Smith, previously the sole director and creator of Snuggy Insulation, has been in the industry since 2012 and has a wealth of knowledge and experience in installing all products, plus Healthy Homes and H1 Compliance. Blair will be the person to assist with your site visits and expertise.
Te Ariki Snow is the Hands on Team Leader dealing with the Installs. Te Ariki passed his certification in 2022 at top of his peers.
S.L.A.B. is the most recommended installer for Eliment Insulation products in Hawkes Bay and surrounding areas for their expertise in delivering a quality install with knowledge of what they are installing. S.L.A.B. is not a franchise and does not have any formal agreements with any manufacturers or merchants.
All of our team members are trained to meet NZS4246:2016 standards and comply with all Health and Safety requirements.
We install retro fit homes/renovations (existing homes), new builds and commercial sites. We predominantly use Eliment Insulation, however, we can supply and/or install any product you prefer such as Bradford Gold and PinkBatts, we can even install most Polyester products, one of our preferred options is Autex Greenstuf.
